Lesser known fact about eyes....

Ever spotted small, shadowy shapes when looking to sky or some bright thing.
Like this?
When i was young, i used to see these and didn't have any idea about it. I used to think that god is trying to tell me something secret with that signs or something. Since i considered it a secret, i didn't tell about it to anyone.
Although! I never managed to decode that encrypted message of god but did end up finding the science behind it.
These are commonly known as ‘squiggly lines’, Floaters being the technical term. This is widely experienced by around 70% of people.
Floaters are little “cobwebs” or specks that float about in your field of vision. They move as your eyes move and seem to dart away when you try to look at them directly. They do not follow your eye movements precisely, and usually drift when your eyes stop moving.
Cause
Floaters occur when the vitreous, a gel-like substance that fills about 80 percent of the eye and helps it maintain a round shape, slowly shrinks.
Floaters are normally merely proteins of the vitreous gel that have clumped together. These stringy clusters of proteins block light and therefore cast a shadow on the retina.
In most cases, floaters are part of the natural aging process and simply an annoyance.
However, there are other, more serious causes of floaters, including infection, inflammation (uveitis), hemorrhaging, retinal tears, and injury to the eye.
So if you are experiencing this and still young, it's god trying to say Eat healthy and Don't let your eye suffer.
Note-If you suddenly become aware of new floaters in your vision, see your eye doctor right away to rule out serious problems.
